I'm going to talk about my Cancer
Cancer happened to me. It happens to
the best of us. It happens to the worst of us. We’re only human. It is a medical pathology. We don't have to turn it into a psychological pathology. In fact, our response is what living and dying is all about. It is at once a challenge and an opportunity. The challenge is how we meet the diagnosis. The opportunity is how we use the diagnosis to find out who we are and what we can be. Cancer - metastatic cancer - is the time to drop all the what we should do, and what the world expects us to be. Cancer frees us to find our spirit, to find that still voice of intuition that resides in the core of our being. I can only speak of my road and hope some of my signposts are guides for others.
